3Delete your account
You can delete your LiveYou account, and the data in it, at any time. There are two ways to do it.
- In the app
- Open the LiveYou app, go to your account settings and choose Delete account. Deletion starts as soon as you confirm it.
- By email
- Write to support@liveyou.ai from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We may ask you to confirm the request before we act on it, so that nobody else can delete your account for you.
Deleting your account removes the account itself, every company you own on LiveYou with everything inside it, and your digital self with its public page and its voice. Companies that belong to someone else are not deleted: you simply leave them.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Some records outlive the account for a limited time, such as those the law requires us to keep and backups that expire on their own. The Privacy Policy lists each of them and how long it is kept.
